La Taverne Rooms - Hotel
Super central accommodation, a stone's throw from the pistes. Ideal for those that like to party and ski hard!
These small and friendly rooms in the heart of Meribel are part of the lively La Taverne bar and restaurant venue. With the Doron piste just across the road, you can practically ski in and ski out.
La Taverne offers clean and comfortable twin, double and triple rooms at some of the cheapest rates you'll find in the Meribel valley. All their rooms have en suite bathrooms and most also have balconies offering views over resort and of the surrounding mountains.
Open all year round, this is a great value option whether you are looking for a skiing, hiking, climbing or mountain biking holiday. Their speciality is mid-week stays and short breaks so it is also worth checking out if you are looking for a short-break right in the centre of resort.
Located in the centre of town and just two minutes from the slopes, the local bus stops right outside the door, meaning maximising ski time could not be easier.
The neighbourhood
Situated in Meribel town square, there are several ski hire shops in the immediate vicinity, the tourist office is opposite and it is 50m from the nearest piste. You will find everything you need on your doorstep.
The Bar
The bar is open from 08:00 to 02:00 during the winter season and hosts a packed programme of live music and DJ sets most days for après-ski and evening events. They also regularly show major sporting events on the big screen with Sky Sports Live. In summer, it is still open every day, but from 11:00 to 01:00. La Taverne also offers broadband and WiFi internet access and has 10 terminals and printer access for the general public.
The Restaurant
The bistro is the same establishment as the bar but within a separate section. It offers a menu of Savoyard classics and burgers in a cosy, traditional setting. Their chefs take pride in their freshly prepared food, extensive wine list and relaxed dining atmosphere.
