Walk off your Christmas lunch with a little leg stretch down to the Chaudanne where the local ski instructors will put on a festive Christmas Day torchlit descent.

A spectacular ski show on the Chaudanne snow front during the February school holidays, and over Christmas and New Year.

Celebrations start at 16:30 with simultaneous torchlight descents from ESF and fireworks in Méribel at la Chaudanne, in Méribel-Mottaret on the snow front, and in Méribel Village.

The museum in Les Allues is located in an old house the 'Maison Bonnevie', opposite the church and shows exhibits of the Méribel valley's history and traditions. 

La Terrasse, located in the heart of Méribel Village, just 100m from the Golf chairlift and at the foot of the Lapin Piste, is open year-round, including inter-seasons. You can book your table online via the “Check website” button at the top of the page to enjoy a meal and drinks on the terrace or inside the restaurant, no matter the season.

This fabulous restaurant reopened under new management and ownership for the winter after a major refurbishment and has had a fun packed and successful first few years. Open during the winter season and into the summer months this is a great place all year round.
