Aux Petits Oignons Bar

Year-round 'locals' bar attached to a delicious French restaurant

Location
Meribel

Since 2007, the friendly team at Aux Petits Oignons has been welcoming guests with warmth, good food, and a genuine Méribel spirit. Proudly part of the Méribel 1600 community, this year-round restaurant and bar is loved by locals and visitors alike for its relaxed atmosphere, great value, and home-cooked dishes made with care.

Conveniently located just above the resort centre on the road to the Altiport and golf course - next to the Sherpa supermarket and Sport 1600, and only a few steps from the Méribus stop (line C) - it’s easy to reach whether you’re skiing, walking, or taking the bus. At lunchtime, you can even ski down the Doron piste to the ‘Marie Blanche’ corner and stroll the short 150-metre walk to the restaurant.

Inside, guests can unwind beside the open fire, enjoying a cosy après-ski drink, or soak up the sunshine on the terrace in good weather. The French and British staff create a welcoming, family-style atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

With its delicious menu, attentive service, and laid-back mountain charm, Aux Petits Oignons is more than just a place to eat - it’s a Méribel favourite where good food, friendly faces, and alpine comfort come together perfectly.

The Restaurant

Aux Petits Oignons restaurant is open each day for lunch serving good, fair priced dishes, inlcuding a three course Menu du Jour, plus salads, burgers, homemade Croque Monsieur and soup.

The evening menu is based on a classic French menu with some international dishes and vegetarian options.
