The museum in Les Allues is located in an old house the 'Maison Bonnevie', opposite the church and shows exhibits of the Méribel valley's history and traditions. 

Step back in time at the museum in Les Allues and discover what life was once like in the mountains. Explore everyday objects and tools that tell the story of traditional farming life, and learn about the history of the House of Savoy through original documents and rare maps. There’s also a permanent exhibition on the early days of skiing in the Méribel valley, with old photos and vintage equipment showing how the sport has evolved over the last century.

2. Vanoise National Park

The Vanoise National Park is one of the highlights of the Tarentaise region. 

The largest national park in France, it's a haven for all sorts of wildlife as well as a magnet for outdoor sports enthusiasts. It's well worth a visit at any time of year - access is free and it's open year-round.
