The closest bus station to Meribel is in Moutiers, the town at the bottom of the mountain. This is also where you will alight if you are coming by train. Buses from the nearest airports usually stop at Moutiers, from where you can catch a connecting bus to Meribel (see above).
Buses from Chambery airport to Moutiers operate twice a day on Saturdays and once on Sundays during the ski season. It takes around 1h45 to get to Moutiers from Chambery, where you will then change onto a connecting bus up to Meribel.
Buses from Lyon airport to Moutiers run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the ski season and take around 3h15 to get to Meribel, also changing at Moutiers on the way. They operate once a day on Fridays and Sunday and four times a day on Saturdays.
Buses from Grenoble to Moutiers operate on Saturdays and Sundays in winter and are scheduled to meet arriving flights. It takes around 2h00 to 2h30 to get to Moutiers from this airport where you can pick up a connecting bus into Meribel.
Buses from Geneva airport to Moutiers operate every day in winter, with eight buses on Saturdays, four on Sundays and three on all the other days of the week. This route takes around 2h00 to Moutiers and a further 45 minutes to 1 hour to get up to Meribel centre.
