Are there any summer lift pass discounts and deals in Meribel?
You bet there are! The 3 Valleys offer special discounts for families both on pedestrian and mountain bike passes, as well as a special 3-hour mountain bike pass for beginners.

Family discount
With the 3 Valleys family discount, everybody pays the child's price. Family discounts are applied to groups of 4 people comprising at least 2 adults and 2 children. Passes must be purchased at the same time, for the same duration and dates.

3-Hour beginner mountain bike pass deal
There are 3-hour passes for those who want to try mountain biking for the first time in Meribel. These are offered for €15 per adult and €10 per child. Family discounts are also applied – everyone pays the child's price.

Free lift passes in Meribel

Who can use the lifts for free in Meribel?
Yes, you heard it right, you can use the lifts for free in Meribel in the summer! There are free lift passes available to young children and seniors.

Everyone aged under 5 & over 75
Children aged under 5 years old and people aged over 75 years old can use the lifts for free in the whole of the 3 Valleys. Proof of age required at the moment of purchase. These passes are only available at the lift pass offices in resort.

Mountain bike lift passes in Meribel

Meribel has four lifts available for mountain bikers to use in summer: Tougnete 1 & 2 and Pas du Lac 1 & 2, giving access to 11 downhill runs, 10 enduro tracks and 4 cross-country trails, as well as 3 special itineraries for e-bikes. You can buy lift passes for just these lifts or for the wider 3 Valleys area, which includes Courchevel, Val Thorens, St Martin de Belleville and Les Menuires too.

How much are mountain bike lift passes in Meribel?
That depends. The 3 Valleys offers mountain bike lift passes for 1 and 7 days, as well as for 3 non-consecutive days and for the whole season. There are also single lift passes available in Meribel (passes bought in Chaudanne give you access to the Tougnete lifts and passes acquired in Mottaret give you access to the Pas du Lac lifts). Mountain bike lift passes are only available at the lift pass offices in Chaudanne and Mottaret.

Pedestrian passes in Meribel

Pedestrians and mountain walkers can make use of the same four summer lifts as mountain bikers in Meribel (Tougnete 1 & 2 and Pas du Lac 1 & 2), plus a whole host of 3 Valleys lifts to broaden the scope of mountain trails available. You'll find great picnic spots with incredible mountain views and several mountain refuges that make a welcome stop-off point on any hike.

How much are pedestrian passes in Meribel?
Once more there are 1 and 7-day 3 Valleys pedestrian passes available, as well as 1 and 2-uplift passes for the Meribel lifts. Return journeys are free for pedestrians. Summer season pedestrian passes are also available for the 3 Valleys area.

Meribel also offers a multi-activity pass, the 'Meripass' that gives you access not only to the lifts as a pedestrian and/or a mountain biker but also the local swimming pool and ice rink, as well as up to -40% discounts on lots of activities. Meripass is only available when staying at an accommodation provider that has partnered up with Meribel Tourisme.

How much are multi-activity passes in Meribel?
That depends on the type of Meripass you choose – -there are three available. Remember that you must present a voucher provided by your hotel, apartment, chalet, rental agent, campsite or tourist residence to be able to purchase your Meripass.

  • Meripass Découverte – €22: includes 1-day pedestrian and mountain bike access to the lifts, plus 1-time access to the swimming pool and 1-time access to the ice rink.
  • Meripass Passion Pieton – €35: includes 1-week pedestrian access to the 3 Valleys' lifts plus unlimited access to the swimming pool and the ice rink.
