Perched right on the edge of the piste, En Bord de Piste Bar in Méribel is the perfect spot to unwind, whether you’ve been skiing all morning or simply want to soak up the alpine atmosphere.

During the day, relax in the cosy living room or on the south-facing terrace, where the sun warms you as you take a break from the slopes. Guests can cool off or warm up, but everyone is greeted with the same quick and friendly welcome. Savour local Savoyard specialities such as mulled wine, regional white wines, or enjoy one of the barman’s famous cocktails. With or without alcohol, you’ll leave feeling refreshed and ready for more mountain adventures.

As the evening sets in, the bar transforms into a welcoming haven by the fireplace. 2. Aux Petits Oignons Bar

Since 2007, the friendly team at Aux Petits Oignons has been welcoming guests with warmth, good food, and a genuine Méribel spirit. Proudly part of the Méribel 1600 community, this year-round restaurant and bar is loved by locals and visitors alike for its relaxed atmosphere, great value, and home-cooked dishes made with care.

Conveniently located just above the resort centre on the road to the Altiport and golf course - next to the Sherpa supermarket and Sport 1600, and only a few steps from the Méribus stop (line C) - it’s easy to reach whether you’re skiing, walking, or taking the bus. At lunchtime, you can even ski down the Doron piste to the ‘Marie Blanche’ corner and stroll the short 150-metre walk to the restaurant.

Inside, guests can unwind beside the open fire, enjoying a cosy après-ski drink, or soak up the sunshine on the terrace in good weather. The French and British staff create a welcoming, family-style atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

3. Lodge du Village Bar

Lodge du Village (LDV) stands above La Terrasse du Village as Méribel Village’s most iconic après-ski and late-night venue, offering a complete day-to-night experience under one roof. Open from midday, LDV is the ideal stop for lunch, a casual bite between runs, or a relaxed family meal. Their upstairs snack bar, Miaou Miaou, serves a selection of satisfying favourites throughout the day, including hot dogs, loaded fries, and smash burgers - ideal for refuelling before heading back to the slopes or settling in for the afternoon.

As the lifts begin to close, LDV transforms. The venue comes alive for après-ski, welcoming some of the finest bands and artists in the Alps. Crowds gather between the bar and the large balcony overlooking Méribel, making LDV a natural continuation of the atmosphere from La Terrasse. When the sun sets fully, LDV becomes a vibrant late-night destination. Expect guest DJs, resident sets, cocktails, drinks promotions, and live sports on their giant TV.

With free shuttle buses running every 30 minutes to Méribel Centre and Les Allues until midnight, getting home is effortless. And should you need a taxi, their team will assist you.

Situated just across the main road from the Troika beginner’s piste in the centre of La Tania, access can be gained via a public lift next to the Montana Hotel which takes you down to the ski bus stop immediately opposite.

La Taiga serves a variety of good value menus including a daily special Skier's Menu with a choice of 2 or 3 courses. 

Open every day from 12:00 to 14:30 for lunch and from 18:30 to 22:30 for dinner.

A popular restaurant in the centre of Meribel serving pasta, pizza, burgers, carpaccios, salads and cocktails, a nice change from the usual Savoyard style cuisine. We love this restaurant and pizzeria for its funky modern décor and the fun igloo-shaped room you can reserve for your party. The ‘specials’ are more inventive, including a raclette pizza, a snail pizza and a burger pizza. And for the sweet-toothed, don’t miss the divine Nutella pizza for dessert. 

This restaurant also serves a choice of burgers, steaks and salads. If you're not hungry then you can just chill out in the lounge bar with a cocktail. Open all day from 11:00 to 23:00, this restaurant gets very busy so booking in advance is recommended.

This underground pub and night club is a quintessential part of Méribel's nightlife.

A late night joint has been in operation on these premises for many, many years and Sully's is continuing to fly the flag for dancing 'til dawn. This non-stop party shop is a fun blend of pub and club is open until the wee hours every day, welcoming locals, seasonnaires and tourists alike.

Come down early to enjoy a game of pool or play on the arcade game. Then, as the crowds gather and the party starts, the resident DJs will help you dance the night away with premium spirits served at the bar. 

Located under the Brewer's Den Bar and Rôtisserie Restaurant, Sully's has an underground feel, contemporary décor and energetic atmosphere that has made it the perfect venue for such famous events as Ibiza Rocks and Mountain Movers takeovers.
