Nestled among the trees, just off the piste and very close to the town centre, this charming chalet is the perfect alpine hideaway for a family or a small group of three to four friends.
Built in the 1980s, the heart of the chalet is its light, open-plan living area, with a sofa and rocking chair, a dining table for four to six, doors leading onto a small balcony with heavenly views across the valley, and a compact but functional kitchen. There is also a guest loo on this floor.
On the lower floor, accessed via a spiral staircase, are the two compact yet comfortable bedrooms: one double and one twin. These share a bathroom with washbasin, along with a separate shower room with washbasin and loo. You will also find a small laundry room with a washing machine on this level.
Ski boots and coats are stored in a cupboard in the small entrance hallway, with skis kept in an outside ski locker. Each morning, simply step out of the front door, click on your skis and you are off.
For larger groups, and subject to availability, Little Yates can be combined with Chalet Yates to accommodate up to Twelve guests.
Guests should note:
- Little Yates is located across the Doron piste, with no vehicular access or parking during the winter. You will need to cross the piste to reach the chalet.
- The stairs to the lower bedroom floor are steep.
- There is no television.
- There is currently no internet connection at the chalet. Fibre installation is hoped for in early December, but due to the nature and location of the property, this cannot be guaranteed.
