At lunchtime you’ll find most restaurants serving a well-priced plat du jour or dish of the day, usually with locally sourced meat, potatoes and a salad or seasonal vegetables. Almost all the restaurants in the resort are child friendly. Evening meals generally start from 19:00, and if you eat then you’ll enjoy a quieter atmosphere before the restaurants get busier later on.

French restaurants

Throughout resort you'll easily find a French restaurant to suit both your taste buds and your budget, whether it's homemade Savoyarde specials in a cosy rustic bolthole, or a light airy modern gourmet experience with a wine list and dessert menu to die for.

Mediterranean restaurants

Fashionable modern airy interiors that offer international à la carte and set menus for lunch or dinner are not in short supply here, so take your pick.

Like most places you don't have to look far to find a good pizza restaurant, and many of the local French restaurants also do good pizza and pasta. Whilst you're not in a Mediterranean seaside town, you'll find in Méribel there are some menus that have a decent offering of seafood that wouldn't look out of place on the French Riviera.
