There's a wide range of restaurants in Meribel to suit all tastes and budgets. Read our guide on all the best places to eat and where to find your favourite style of cuisine.
At lunchtime you’ll find most restaurants serving a well-priced plat du jour or dish of the day, usually with locally sourced meat, potatoes and a salad or seasonal vegetables. Almost all the restaurants in the resort are child friendly. Evening meals generally start from 19:00, and if you eat then you’ll enjoy a quieter atmosphere before the restaurants get busier later on.
For those of you needing your sushi fix, there are a couple of spots in town where you'll find either Japanese options on the menu or a dedicated evening per week.
Méribel is one of the world’s premier ski resorts, offering everything one could want from the mountains, bar one thing… authentic Indian cuisine. Tsaretta Spice has fast become one of the most popular restaurants in the valley, taking the Méribel food scene by storm and is open from December until April every year.
Jacks in Méribel is a lively ski-in, ski-out restaurant and bar at La Chaudanne, perfect for food, drinks and après-ski fun. The menu features homemade burgers, pizzas, Savoyard classics, and plenty of veggie and vegan options, served all day from breakfast to late-night bites. In Méribel centre, you’ll find everything from hot breakfast rolls and full English breakfasts to egg butties, bagels, and porridge if that’s your thing. And like any French town or village, you’re never far from a bakery. Whether you’re in resort, by the pistes, or in the Village, there’s always a café with a sunny terrace where you can enjoy the view and some tasty pastries.
The boulangerie has belonged to the family Gandy for 50 years. They have shops in all levels of Courchevel: Le Praz, Courchevel Village, Moriond, La Tania, two boutiques in Courchevel 1850 and one in Meribel village.

This restaurant is ideally situated right on the slopes of Meribel at the Saulire Express mid station with easy access from the Maudit and Biche pistes. La Fruitière serves some of the best food to be had on the slopes with their dishes lovingly prepared by Franck Mischler, Maître Cuisinier de France.
