If you're looking for a spot with an international atmosphere, Barometer is the place to go. The warm, vibrant and stylish restaurant and bar is located right at the heart of the Three Valleys.

This underground pub and night club is a quintessential part of Méribel's nightlife.

Tsaretta is a great bar which is open year round. It has become a firm favourite with local residents and visitors, offering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, a fantastic menu that includes fresh pizza to eat in or takeaway, big screen sport and live music.

Located right in the heart of Méribel town centre, just a stone’s throw from the Doron piste, La Taverne Bar is open every day during winter.

The museum in Les Allues is located in an old house the 'Maison Bonnevie', opposite the church and shows exhibits of the Méribel valley's history and traditions. 

The Vanoise National Park is one of the highlights of the Tarentaise region. 

One of the main draws to Méribel in summer is its excellent 18 hole golf course. Situated at the Altiport area the 71 par course stretches from 1565m up to 1850m.

At the bottom of the pistes, in the tourist office (Maison du Tourisme), you will find lift pass offices where you can purchase you ski pass.

Méribel is the biggest and best known village in the valley with the widest selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Famous for its picture postcard chalets and chalet style apartment buildings and hotels, Méribel has retained all the charm of a traditional mountain village with its wood and stone buildings and forest setting. Fast, modern ski lifts offer easy access to the Méribel valley ski area (150km of pistes) and the three Valleys (600km of pistes).

Méribel Village is a small, traditional hamlet of chalets and converted barns and is a popular destination for those who prefer a tranquil, village atmosphere.

Méribel-Mottaret is a purpose-built resort dating from the 1970s. It shares Méribel’s chalet-style architecture but most of its accommodation is in the form of large apartment blocks and hotels. The resort is mostly car-free and much of the accommodation is ski-in, ski-out. It has a good selection of shops, services, bars and restaurants.

Les Allues is an authentic Savoyard village with its traditional communal bread oven, old barns and narrow back streets and year-round life.

La Tania is the most recently built resort in Les Trois Vallées. Opened in 1990, it lies midway between its much larger neighbours, Méribel and Courchevel. Its traffic-free centre and convenient size make it especially popular with families.

Brides-les-Bains is a spa town at the bottom of the valley, linked with Méribel by the Olympe gondola lift. This valley town offers a decent range of accommodation at a fraction of the price of the Méribel resorts.
