Updated

At 2126m sits Refuge du Saut. A mountain hut and refuge which is open during the summer from mid June to mid September and is available upon request for the rest of the year.

Offering traditional regional dishes, you can stop by for lunch whilst walking and enjoy the beautiful views. With a 25 bed dormitory the refuge can be used as a stopover on the Vanoise tour, the Aiguille du Fruit tour or the Mount Coua mountain lakes tour, as well as being available to other hikers and walkers for overnight stays. A fun and exciting place for children with all the mountain activities and friendly staff.

During the summer months, the hut is staffed and you can choose from twin, triple, quad or dormitory rooms. Accommodation is on a half-board, full board or B&B basis.

There are 8 beds available in the winter on a self-catered basis. Blankets, gas for cooking and a wood stove are provided but please note that there is no running water in the winter and the hut is not staffed.

Access to the refuge is from Meribel Mottaret where the walk is 2 hours from the Tueda car park.
