Le Bouc Blanc Restaurant, La Tania exterior

1. Le Bouc Blanc Restaurant

Location
La Tania

This restaurant is reached via the red run ‘Lanches’ or the blue run ‘Arolles’ and is located just next to the top station of the La Tania bubble. Consequently it’s a good place for lunch if one of your group isn’t skiing as access is easy from this bubble.

It has a huge sundeck for sunny days seating around 400 people and inside it is beautifully decorated with seating for maybe another 150 over two floors. The best tables are upstairs on a cold day and on the sundeck on the four tables right alongside the restaurant when the sun’s out.

With that number of customers, you could reasonably expect to be in for a long wait for your food on a busy day. Nothing could be further from the truth! Order the Plat du Jour, and you’ll be served very quickly. A steak might take 3 minutes! The food is varied and of unfailing good quality. The Plat du Jour could be beef bourguignon, braised duck, roast chicken or any one of another eight specialities – served with your choice of frites or gratin potatoes (Savoyard).

Children are well catered for with a menu enfant for a choice of either hamburger (home made) frites, Knacki (sausages) frites or spaghetti Bolognese. A chocolate or strawberry ice cream is included in the price.

Open every day during the summer and winter.

2. Le Rond Point Restaurant & Snack Bar

Location
Meribel

Le Rond Point in Méribel is a lively, piste-side favourite, serving food and drinks all day from its relaxed bar and welcoming restaurant. Its burgers are a standout, perfect for grabbing on the go between runs or enjoying as part of a long, laid-back lunch in the sun. With great mountain views, a famously buzzing après-ski atmosphere and plenty of space to unwind, it’s an essential stop for anyone looking to soak up Méribel’s energetic mountain vibe.

The Rond Point has two food outlets, the wonderful à la carte restaurant and its very popular snack bar. Both are open daily throughout the season and offer the opportunity to enjoy outdoor dining (when sunny!) on Ronnie’s beautiful and popular south facing terrace.

The two kitchens offer completely different dining experiences, with the a la carte serving a fusion of local and pan European dishes, which can be enjoyed with a selection delightful beverages served by a fantastic multilingual team of staff. The snack bar is self service and offers a selection of beef, chicken or vegetarian burgers or Thai woks that contain the best locally sourced ingredients, made with love. The snack bar is arguably one of the most popular mountain side food outlets in the Three Valleys so please expect to queue. However, service is efficient friendly and well worth the short waiting times!

Situated where the Foret and Rhodos green runs meet, it is easy for every level of skier and boarder to access and it can also be reached on foot from town.

Don’t forget to return to the Ronnie at the end of the day when the bar turns into a legendary après-ski venue. It is a Three Valleys experience not to be missed!

The menu is extensive, with a good variety of savoury galettes and sweet crepes to choose from. Be sure to get yourself a bottle of cidre to wash it down. They also offer popular Savoyarde specialities, tartiflette, fondue and croziflette, as well as salads and pasta dishes.

On warmer and sunny days, the terrace is very inviting and a great spot for a leisurely lunch. Inside is a cosy restaurant.
