The weather is changing again in Meribel and a few clouds are appearing but the good weather will be back soon....we hope.

Spring has arrived in Meribel and the Three Valleys and after almost a week of snow and clouds the sun has come out and the forecast is that it's here to stay.

An unusual start to the week with traffic problems and bad weather, but things are definitely looking up!

The lifts are opening a little later into the afternoon now, and conditions are still great!

The snow depth has improved and there's more snow due this week..

Caroline's weekly edition of her snow report, which this week includes some information about the upcoming blues festival in Meribel.

There's still plenty of snow, with only a few of the lower runs closed at the moment.

The countdown has begun to the end of the season, however with fresh snow last week, the pistes have had a nice top up and conditions are great for April!

It's been a great weekend for skiing powder in Meribel this weekend, but there are still a few rocks lurking around under the surface. 

Get out early and take a long lunch to make the most of the conditions this week.

Conditions are holding out really well considering it's getting as warm as 14 degrees C in the afternoons!

Timing is critical at this time of year, when the pistes are icy first thing in the morning and then softening up with slushy snow in the afternoons.

Skiing conditions are absolutely great in Meribel this week and after 6 days of pretty much non stop snow, it's actually still snowing!

The weather today has been beautiful and the snow depths across the Three Valleys ski are are really good at the moment.

There are a few patches of ice around on the pistes at the moment, so make sure your edges are nice and sharp!

Courchevel is looking great at the moment with some of the best powder I've ever seen. There is so much snow and when the sun came out on Wednesday we made the most of it.

After one of the snowiest weeks of the season last week, the snow depths in Meribel are the best they've been all season.

Plenty of cold nights mean the snow canons have kept the pistes topped up every night, but we're still waiting for more fresh snow to fall.

With almost 100% of the 3 Valleys lifts and pistes open, it's a great time to come skiing. The sun is shining and all the links in the ski area are open to allow access to neighbouring resorts. 

Slushy spring skiing conditions this week, but it's colder today & there may be a little fresh snow at altitude tonight.

After the dump of snow we had at the weekend, the pistes have had a nice top up of snow and although we're still experiencing spring conditions in the afternoons, the upper pistes are great. 

Although the full ski area isn't open yet, there's still plenty of skiing to be had and reduced ski pass prices on the run up to Christmas too.

You should definitely consider buying a 3 Valleys ski pass at the moment to make the most of conditions.

After all the snow we've had this week, piste conditions are really good, especially in the higher parts of the 3 valleys.

‪‎Snow Report‬ from the 3 Valleys and Tim's gone all Christmassy on us.. There are currently 175 pistes open across the whole ski area and 124 lifts. Check in daily on the live lift status to see what's open where.

When the visibility is low, as is the case today, head to the Altiport to get some definition on the pistes along side the trees.

A good top up of snow overnight has helped improve conditions.

This week Caroline looks at the Off Piste safety training zone in Meribel Mottaret and rounds up all the new events for the week.

The snow is still great in Meribel and if the weather isn't the usual Spring sunshine that we would expect for this time of year there is always the option of going cross country skiing.

Torstein Horgmo heads straight from the backcountry to Vancouver airport to Meribel, just to get a bite of a baguette.

Caroline is back with the first report from the 3 Vallées where the season is about to begin. Conditions are looking excellent for the opening weekend with over 1m of snow and bright sunshine.

Snow conditions are pretty typical for December and there's more than enough on the pistes to keep you entertained.

There may be a little more snow on the forecast this week, which will be much needed as some pistes are starting to have stones poking through. 

Pretty much the whole ski area is open this week, the snowparks, the liaisons between the 3 valley resort and they're all in great condition.

Thrills, spills, partying.. not a bad holiday then guys?! 

Caroline is back and so is the snow. There's been a huge dump of snow over the last week that has put down over half a meter in Meribel town and over two metres at the top of the Sauliere.

Cloud are heading our way.. but will they be bringing us some more snow?
