That was January...What's happening in February?

Updated

January 2009 has been a great month in the Alps. We've had skiing and snowboarding competitions in the shape of the Tignes Airwaves and a number of slightly more unusual events too.

No matter what your interest or passion there is always something going on in the Mountains. Whether you ski, snowboard, climb, mush or chukka there is something for everyone and we'll try and be there to show you all the sights and sounds that the Alps have to offer.

January certainly started with a bang and February is showing no signs of slowing down. The FIS World Championships are coming to Val d'Isere from the 2nd-15th and promise to be an incredible spectacle. In Chamonix there is a qualifying stage for the Freeride World Tour from the 15th-19th and then the Nissan Outdoor Games returns to Mont Blanc on the 20th and 21st. As well as the Sebastien Rung Challenge on the 21st.

There's Polo in Verbier from the 30th - 1st and Ski Joring in Les Arcs at the same time.

If you want to stay up to date with all these events, simply stay logged on.
