Meribel has settled into a very steady mid season rhythm, with the mountains looking well covered and the forest runs holding a proper alpine feel. From the valley floor up to the higher bowls, the season now feels in full swing, and conditions across the ski area reflect that. There is a calm confidence to the skiing at the moment, with reliable snow underfoot and few surprises day to day.
Snow and Weather Summary
Current snow depths are around 220 to 240cm at altitude, with approximately 130 to 150cm at resort level. There has been little fresh snowfall over the past week, but the existing base remains solid thanks to consistently cold temperatures. Daytime highs on the mountain have been sitting between -7 and -3 degrees Celsius, with the freezing level generally below 1400m. Winds have been light for the most part, helping keep surfaces smooth and lift operations unaffected. Skiing is good across most pistes, with groomed runs offering firm but grippy snow in the mornings before softening slightly by late morning. Higher and north facing terrain continues to provide the best snow quality, while lower slopes can feel harder early on, particularly after clear nights.
