The New Gen Freeski Camp runs from Mon - Fri this week

featured in Snow Report Author Jack Franks, Meribel Reporter Updated

This week in Meribel there is a unique opportunity for Freestyle skiers of all levels who are keen to improve their skills. New Generation Ski Schools will be holding a ‘FreeSki Camp’ from Monday to Friday. This is a weeklong series of freestyle lessons held by actual pro freeskiers, sponsored by ‘Nordica’.

Rarely will you find a pro freeskier who is also a fully qualified instructor so this is a great chance for anyone to improve their freestyle game. There will be a beginner group so don’t be afraid to come along if you are in the early stages of your freestyle career!

The camp runs from Monday to Friday with the option of doing full or half days. New Gen try to be as flexible as possible with timings to help work around your commitments so if you are unsure then just get in touch. The camp costs €150 for 5 half days (15 hours) and €250 for 5 full days (30 hours) of tricks and tips from pros, Federico “Fette” De Albertis and Paolo “Pablo” Martinoglio.

The week-long event is sponsored by ski brand ‘PLANKS’ who will be giving away prizes at the presentation ceremony at the end of the week. For more information check out the poster above or go and check out the event facebook page here:

I will be heading down for the week and providing a daily diary of the goings on at the skicamp, hopefully see some of you there!
