Some of the biggest names in snowboarding are coming to Meribel next month to ride in the DC Shred Days Event. A whole host of legends are set to take part in the 3 day event including global snowboarding sensation Travis Rice.

Previous editions of the event have been the reserve of those involved in the snowboarding industry but thanks to Meribel Tourisme, this year the DC Shred Days are now a public event! With demos, competitions, BBQs, DJs and huge parties planned, the 2013 version of the DC Shred Days event is set to be better than ever.

The event will take place from the 3rd-5th of April 2103 in the DC Area 43 Snowpark and legendary riders such as Travis Rice, Torstein Horgmo, Lauri Heiskari, Mat Schaer, and Jani Sorasalmi will all be showcasing their skills against the fabulous backdrop of Les 3 Vallees - the largest ski area in the world!

And when the sun goes down on the park at the end of the event on Friday, Meribel have organised a huge concert to take place at the Olympic ice rink ensuring that the fun goes on into the wee hours....

Meribel are offering special day passes for the event which will include your ski pass, access to the demos and comps at the DC Area 43 Snowpark, BBQ lunch, DJs and the big Friday concert in Meribel. All of this for just €59! (Seasonnaires or residents can pick up their pass from 30th March by pre-booking with the Tourist Office - price €35).

If you're lucky enough to be in Meribel at the start of April, then get involved - if not, book a flight quickly, it's going to be immense!
