Ski Mountainering, or SkiMo as it's also known, is basically uphill skiing. It's performance-oriented ski touring that combines different mountain(eering) skills whilst on skis.

Popular with many ultra runners, it combines endurance, technical skills and ski racing. Make no mistake, these athletes are insanely fit.

This is a great event where you'll see France’s top athletes compete in a vertical race and team event on Méribel’s pistes and peaks.

Watch the mass start and cheer on the contestants as they tackle gruelling climbs, tricky technical sections and daring off-piste descents on their course around les 3 Vallées.

Upcoming Events

Méribel hosts a number of events throughout the summer and winter months, some of which span the entire Three Valleys. Two such events are Les 3 Vallees Enduro in April with every type of snowboard, ski and telemark racing imaginable, and the 3 Vallées Addict Tour mountain bike festival every July. The Tourist Office also organises children's events and activities during the school holidays.
