Serving typical Savoyard and Bellevilloise food, this is a real little gem of a multi-generational run mountain restaurant. Open for lunch and dinner, you must book in advance.
There are only five tables inside and more seating on the large outside terrace which offers great views over the valley.
Their specialities include things like Bellevillois Croque Monsieur created by Guy Martin, cayon casserole, raclette, croziflette, “Grandma Josephine” pear and chocolate flavoured dessert, vanilla and cherries Polenta, and “the 1957” blueberry génépi created by Cédric Pernot.
They have a farm, a cheese dairy, gardens and farm shop that's worth a visit too. You can take a guided visit around the farm and see how the cheese is made.
In the day, the restaurant can be accessed on skis by following the 'Chasse' red run leading from the bottom of the 'Plein Sud' lift in Val Thorens or by continuing on from the 'Pluviometre' run. In the evening, the restaurant is accessed on foot with parking close by and a small walk up the snowy and torchlit path. We recommend you ring the owner for directions if you think you may get a little lost, it can be complicated.
Open daily for lunch and dinner (except Monday evenings) in summer and winter.
