The bar’s big screens make it a favourite spot for watching live sports, while the music keeps the atmosphere buzzing throughout the day and into the evening. 2. Tsaretta Restaurant

Located in a traditional stone village house, this British-run bar/restaurant is the centre of nightlife in Les Allues. A dozen pizzas are on offer, including the popular l’Anglaise (mozzarella, tomato, smoked bacon, sausage, mushrooms and egg) or the Orientale (hoisin sauce, shredded duck and spring onion). You can also ‘bespoke’ your pizza by adding or subtracting your own ingredients.

Tsaretta has become a firm favourite with local residents and visitors alike, offering a fantastic international à la carte menu in a relaxed dining area spread over two floors. Their freshly made pizzas are some of the best in the valley and can be ordered to eat in or take away. They cater for private events with the option of booking one of the floors for a private party.

With something for everyone you can expect a relaxed, fun atmosphere with excellent service, Sunday lunches, bbqs in the summer, daily specials, food events, wine tastings and a pop up craft beer festival. It even has a kids playground opposite the sun terrace.

The restaurant is open year round and with a central location it is very easy to get to, so it is certainly worth visiting this gem in the heart of Les Allues.

You can watch sport on the big screen or enjoy some sunshine on one of the two shaded terraces. Tsaretta continues to open seven days a week in the inter-seasons and summer too making it a great place to meet and enjoy a meal all year round.

3. La Flambée Restaurant Pizzeria

This restaurant serves a host of Italian dishes and fresh Mediterranean produce, as well as more than 20 different wood fire oven pizzas. You'll find all your favourite Italian dishes here at a reasonable price. Specialities include Culatello ham, truffle risotto, prawns with vegetables and their famous lemon tart with a glass of Limoncello. They also have local specialities such as fondue, tartiflette, or raclette.

Open from mid-December to late April.

4. La Terrasse du Mottaret Restaurant

A versatile mountain restaurant perfect for lunch, dinner, coffee or drinks. Conveniently located in front of the Plattières télécabine, it’s easily accessible for both skiers and pedestrians. The menu features a tasty selection of pizza, loaded burgers, fresh salads and comforting pasta dishes, making it ideal for a quick bite on the go or a relaxed meal. With its friendly atmosphere and prime location, it’s a popular spot to refuel and unwind in the mountains.

They are family friendly and offer a good plat du jour plus a varied menu including great pizzas, salads, burgers and pasta.

You'll often find live music being played on Sundays in winter, creating a nice atmosphere.

5. L'Igloo Bar and Restaurant

A popular restaurant in the centre of Meribel serving pasta, pizza, burgers, carpaccios, salads and cocktails, a nice change from the usual Savoyard style cuisine. We love this restaurant and pizzeria for its funky modern décor and the fun igloo-shaped room you can reserve for your party. The ‘specials’ are more inventive, including a raclette pizza, a snail pizza and a burger pizza. And for the sweet-toothed, don’t miss the divine Nutella pizza for dessert. 

This restaurant also serves a choice of burgers, steaks and salads. If you're not hungry then you can just chill out in the lounge bar with a cocktail. Open all day from 11:00 to 23:00, this restaurant gets very busy so booking in advance is recommended.

6. Pizzeria du Mottaret Restaurant

A Mottaret institution, this restaurant has been pleasing hungry skiers for decades. It’s located at the foot of the slopes, close to the Tourist Office, making it a convenient lunch stop. The décor is charmingly old-fashioned, and the pizzas are invariably good with a wide choice of over 15 pizzas on the menu, including all the old favourites and a few more original creations such as the Kebab pizza. There’s also a wide range of hearty traditional French dishes and pastas on the menu. 

They have an oyster kiosk right in front, so you can enjoy seafood platters in the restaurant or take them home. Other specialities include pizza, fresh pasta, tartares and steaks. Open in the winter season every day from 12:00 to 22:30, non-stop service.

7. L'Alti 16 Pizzeria Restaurant

This small cosy restaurant is located at Altitude 1600, halfway between Altiport and La Chaudanne. It is popular for its freshly baked pizzas and friendly service. Known for its delicious wood-fired pizzas, generous portions and fresh, high-quality ingredients, the menu also includes tasty salads, pasta dishes, and comforting desserts. The snug, friendly ambiance and views of snowy peaks make it a favourite for relaxed meals with friends or family. Whether you’re stopping by after skiing or simply craving a good pizza, L’Alti 16 serves hearty comfort food with Alpine charm.

Alongside the pizza menu, they also offer omelettes, salads, pasta dishes, tartiflette, steak and fondue, as well as a few Asian dishes. Open daily during the winter season for dinner only, from 17:30 to 22:30. Takeaway available.

8. La Briz Olee Restaurant

A mountain chalet serving traditional French cuisine and local specialities. Decorated in a typical Savoyard style, they have a large and sunny terrace facing the slopes. Chef Olivier Rouffignac serves a good selection of local specialities, meat, pizzas and fish dishes at middle of the range prices. There are children's and skier's menus available, as well as a great range of homemade desserts.

Open for lunch and dinner in the summer and winter season.

9. Le Monchu Restaurant

Tucked along the Rhodos piste, this charming chalet combines a relaxed bistro restaurant with a cosy lounge area. At lunch, you can choose from colourful starters, quality matured meats, burgers, fish, salads, pizzas and Savoyard classics. On Sundays, they serve a book-ahead terrace brunch with a buffet and cocktail trolley. The lounge, filled with sofas and beanbags, is dedicated to Veuve Clicquot, making it a dreamy spot for breakfast, pastries, desserts, and, of course, champagne.

It's also a great place for après-ski, with parties on Thursdays on the terrace. Staff dress up and a DJ plays 80's and 90's tunes remixed in a dance-house style. Thousands of coloured bubbles will blow out over the terrace! Check out their special event evenings too. Open every day throughout the winter season. Le Monchu has a great sunny terrace with fabulous views of the ski area.

Set in the heart of La Tania, Les Marmottons is a charming, wood-furnished restaurant that feels like a warm alpine escape. The menu blends comforting Savoyard classics with crowd-pleasing dishes — think cheesy fondues, rich tartiflettes, hearty meats and cosy casseroles. Generous portions, friendly service and a welcoming, rustic vibe make it perfect for relaxed dinners after skiing. Whether you’re sharing a platter by the fire or tucking into a filling meal with friends, Les Marmottons hits the spot for comfort food and good times.

There is a large sunny terrace very close to the slopes, and a warm and cosy dining room. They also offer an afternoon tea break with sweet crêpes and ice creams. Open every day from 9:00 to 23:00 in winter and summer.

Jack's Bar, Meribel - Centre

11. Jacks Restaurant

Jacks in Méribel is a lively ski-in, ski-out restaurant and bar at La Chaudanne, perfect for food, drinks and après-ski fun. The menu features homemade burgers, pizzas, Savoyard classics, and plenty of veggie and vegan options, served all day from breakfast to late-night bites. With a sun-soaked terrace, live music, cocktails and craft beers, Jacks combines relaxed, hearty dining with a vibrant, party-ready atmosphere, making it a favourite spot for skiers and holidaymakers alike.

Operating from 12:00 to 23:00 non stop every day, this restaurant serves up a wide variety of homemade pizzas, nachos and salads. Their original offerings venture away from the standard Savoyard heavy creamy and potato pizzas towards more international flavours such as hoi sin duck, and slow cooked pulled pork with a homemade bbq sauce topping. Their menu still includes your Italian favourites such as quattro formaggi and quattro stagioni.

This venue is also famous for its après-ski and there will be live music every weekday from 17:00 featuring some of the best musicians in the Alps. After a fantastic day on the mountain, don't miss out on their happy hour deals from 16:00.
