Ski Mountaineering World Cup comes back to Courchevel

The Ski Mountaineering World Cup is back in Courchevel, with two international competitions

This epic event returns to Courchevel after an absence of ten years. This event marks the opening of the 24/25 season of the world circuit.

On Thursday December 12, athletes will compete in the individual event in the Olympic format on the station's majestic peaks. 

After a day of rest, the excitement resumes on Saturday December 14, with the sprint event, the first qualification for the 2026 Cortina Olympics. 

On Sunday December 15, the vertical race will take place on the official Millet Ski Touring Courchevel course.

This final race, open to all, will bring this first stage of the World Cup to a spectacular close, promising moments of adrenaline and intense competition.

Upcoming Events

Méribel hosts a number of events throughout the summer and winter months, some of which span the entire Three Valleys. Two such events are Les 3 Vallees Enduro in April with every type of snowboard, ski and telemark racing imaginable, and the 3 Vallées Addict Tour mountain bike festival every July. The Tourist Office also organises children's events and activities during the school holidays.
