Fishing - Lac de Tueda, Meribel

Fishing at Lake Tueda throughout the summer season

Fish in the beautiful Lac Tueda, with clear water and high number of trout the lake is reserved throughout the summer for fishing.

Restricted to no kill fly-fishing using barbless hooks on one half and traditional fishing on the other half. A fishing licence is compulsory if you wish to fish on the lake and there are every evening is a no kill fish evening from 5pm to 8pm. 

On Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and weekends the lake is open for fishing from 7am to 8pm and on Mondays the whole day is a no kill day. 

No Kill fishing cards cost €7 for a half day, €13 for a full day & no kill evenings cost €6. Traditional fishing cards are €17 per day for 6 fish up to 2kg and above that it is €8 per kg, for a half day it is €9 for 1kg and 3 fish and then €8 per kg after that. 

Fishing cards are on sale at the Tueda restaurant.

Upcoming Events

Méribel hosts a number of events throughout the summer and winter months, some of which span the entire Three Valleys. Two such events are Les 3 Vallees Enduro in April with every type of snowboard, ski and telemark racing imaginable, and the 3 Vallées Addict Tour mountain bike festival every July. The Tourist Office also organises children's events and activities during the school holidays.
