La Terrasse Brasserie, Meribel Village
International cuisine, classic local dishes, fresh seafood and much more
La Terrasse is situated in the heart of Meribel Village just 100m from the Golf chairlift and the foot of the Lapin Piste. The restaurant is open year-round, including interseasons, so you'll always be able to enjoy a meal here.
Using carefully sourced local and international ingredients, their culinary team has created a menu that is fresh and innovative while, at the same time, hearty and homely. Stars of the show include their homemade foie gras terrine, Peruvian ceviche, pata negra Iberico ham, Charolais beef carpaccio and the finest cuts of black Aberdeen Angus beef. With daily chef creations, a stunning homemade burger, classic local dishes, fresh seafood, a great choice of salads and several vegetarian options, La Terrasse is a must stop Méribel dining experience.
Their newly-renovated and expanded sun-trap terrace with an impressive heated parasol means you can enjoy outdoor dining and stunning panoramic views no matter what the weather. With a new outdoor bar and daily live acoustic music, La Terrasse is not just a great place to dine but also an ideal spot to sit and unwind with a beer, vin chaud or a homemade hot chocolate after a hard day on the slopes.
The restaurant is open daily from 08:45 to 23:00, so you can join their terrace or their cosy restaurant for breakfast while enjoying a morning pastry from the bakery next door, coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, apres ski and dinner. As there is a free bus service running to Meribel and Les Allues every 20 minutes, there’s more reason to miss the last chairlift or make that special visit for an unforgettable evening.
Reservations are strongly recommended.

Visitor comments
- "This is one of most regular spots - we visit at least three times a month all year - great varied menu even interseason when it is admittedly much smaller than in the winter season. A mix of international favourites delivered with their own flair." - Trip Advisor
- "This bar restaurant is in the centre of Meribel Village just off the bottom of the Lapin blue run in a fabulous sun trap terrace, so you may need your factor 15. The place is run by English people and it has a cosmopolitan menu with slightly broader appeal and with an interesting list of gourmet food, it’s also very good for vegetarians! In the evening I went to the restaurant inside, it was warm and cozy, again excellent food, I selected a cheese fondue…well, when in France!! The whole thing was washed down with a few glasses of wine and also a few shots of Genepi, a French liqueur, I was given a complimentary shot before leaving. After dinner, in the bar upstairs, an amazing band came and the place was packed…and the night rocked away! It was great fun!! All in all I would highly recommend this place with its friendly and lively atmosphere, attentive staff and pleasant décor." - Trip Advisor
- "Excellent lunch, extremely friendly service. Highly recommend the rotisserie chicken and the fish cakes. Newly renovated interior to a high standard. Now very warm and comfortable." - Trip Advisor
- "This restaurant has always been very good value if a bit simple in style for lunch. Now called La Terrasse it has been completely re vamped inside. Now the inside is very warm, cosy and friendly. I just had a superb large 1/2 rotisserie chicken here. Not cheap (27.00) but one of the best roasted chicken I have tasted in a long while. I am guessing probably free range.Perfectly cooked all the way through, not just tasty at the edges like some. Fish cakes here also highly recommended by my friend at lunch.Popi the new fresh waitress was charming, very friendly and efficient. Altogether a really lovely lunch spot if you find yourself at Meribel Village." - Trip Advisor
