This restaurant is located in the ski resort of Méribel, ideally situated near the ski slopes. Their terrace, on the edge of a forest, is a great place for sunny lunches while their traditional dining room is perfect for cosy dinners.
They serve sophisticated Savoyard cuisine, including meat and cheese platters, foie gras, salads, pasta, tartiflette, croziflette, fondue and raclette. However, they are specialised in local meats grilled on wood fire; choose from beef, lamb, pork sausages or chicken and choose your sides and sauce.
Every week, they have a themed evening open to all.
Open every day for lunch and from Tuesday to Saturday for dinner. Winter and summer.
- "Whilst this is our new favourite place in the winter, we had not reckoned on how stunningly beautiful it would be in the summer too! Quite glorious - and superb service, food and wine." - Trip Advisor
- "Our party of 8 had an absolutely excellent lunch (the chevre chaud salad was divine) and a delicious French wine - very reasonably priced - and the ski route through the trees to the restaurant in January was the closest I've been to Narnia! Richard, who runs the restaurant is a true Anglophile, very hospitable and a great raconteur!" - Trip Advisor
- "We were at the Le Clos Bernard as a part of a weekend-long business event. We were served by Jay, who took excellent care of us. Being a vegan, I have a very restricted diet, but Jay was super helpful. He got a special plate prepared just for me. The food was amazing, and the wine was great." - Trip Advisor
