Méribel will host an aerobatic display by France’s equivalent of the Red Arrows, la Patrouille de France (PAF), on February 21st.

The resort will host a spectacular 22-minute show which will see the planes perform incredible aerobatics just above the slopes. Spectators are invited to watch the show from mountain restaurants and other high vantage points for a unique view of the planes at eye-level.

This occasion forms part Méribel’s first Aerosnow event on 21st February, during which French Astronaut Thomas Pesquet will take part in a live link-up from the International Space Station.

The PAF performed in Méribel in July last year as part of a hugely popular Air show.

If you are not lucky enough to be in Méribel for the main event, you will have other chances to see the PAF in action. The team is due to make reconnaissance flights in preparation for Aerosnow in the coming weeks. Make sure you have your ears and eyes open on Wednesday 25th and Friday 27th January between 1pm and 1.50pm for the first training flights. Further reconnaissance flights are due to take place in February.
