Méribel has been chosen to host a women’s World Cup Alpine Ski race in February 2013, one of the most prestigious Alpine ski event hosted by the resort since the 1992 Olympic Games.

On 23 and 24 February, the resort will host Downhill and Super-Combined events, featuring some the best women skiers from around the world.

The competitions will be held on the newly re-shaped Roc de Fer Olympic slope, finishing at the Chaudanne in Méribel Centre.

The event will be a useful rehearsal for Méribel before the 2015 Finals of the Alpine Ski World Cup, the most important event in the ski competition calendar.
