Draisienne race

Europe's first and only draisienne challenge for children

Great fun childrens race on a balance bike with no pedals!

A line up of four riders maximum, with a pool system and a final phase. The race is run over a single lap. There are categories depending on age.

A draisienne can be won in a prize draw.

Categories
Two year olds: year of birth 2022
Three years: year of birth 2021
Four years: year of birth 2020
Five years: year of birth 2019

The Programme

09:00 track opening
10:30 first start
11:30  finals
12:00 prize giving ceremony (race medals for the top three finishers in each category) and snack
12:00 the draisienne draw closes the event

Upcoming Events

Méribel hosts a number of events throughout the summer and winter months, some of which span the entire Three Valleys. Two such events are Les 3 Vallees Enduro in April with every type of snowboard, ski and telemark racing imaginable, and the 3 Vallées Addict Tour mountain bike festival every July. The Tourist Office also organises children's events and activities during the school holidays.
