Having been in the Three Valleys for 17 years now, and with many of their instructors having been based here for years, they know the valley inside out, meaning that they can guide you to the best runs depending on the weather and conditions.

Since its creation in 1945 by a group of instructors from the valley, this ski school has grown to become one of the largest in France. All 450 instructors are professionals, trained at the National School of Skiing and Alpinism in Chamonix. They have extensive knowledge of the Méribel and Three Valleys ski area and are passionate about sharing their love of skiing and the mountains. The exact pricing depends on the size of your group (eight people maximum for regular ski lessons or up to six for off-piste) and the dates you'll be skiing.

Private Snowboard Lessons:

If you prefer a more flexible approach to learning to snowboard, have specific goals in mind or simply want a guide to show you the resort, private lessons are the perfect option. Their instructors will be there to help you make your goals a reality. You can keep your group private or add friends and or family (up to eight people maximum). Just select your discipline as snowboard when enquiring.

Adaptive Skiing:

With their adaptive ski programme they offer one to one private lessons and guiding. Catering for beginners as well as more advanced and expert skiers they can offer stand-up skiing, sit ski, piloted dualski and taxi-ski experiences. Just request adaptive options when enquiring.

They have a real passion for snowboarding and will easily be able to help you develop your skills whatever level you are, with fun, easy to understand techniques.

The instructors all hold the top British Snowboarding qualifications and all have full French equivalence. Since English is their native tongue there are no language barriers. They bring together years of teaching experience from around Europe, New Zealand, Argentina and the UK. They work for BASI, the British Association of Snowsports Instructors, training and examining up and coming snowboard instructors. They are also qualified to take you off piste.

This snowboarding school offer private tuition and more specific coaching to get you to your next level in snowboarding.

They will tailor the lessons specifically to your needs so you get the most out of your time and money. Snowboard private lessons can be run any time, any day of the week depending on availability and are for up to 2 people (must be the same/similar ability level). Additional people can be added at an additional price.

The emphasis at this level is on safety, your ski ability and technique, plus mountain conditions and risk assessment. They can also provide tuition in safety training, including avalanche beeps searches.

They teach individuals, families and small groups of friends. If you are planning to learn with family members or friends, it is advisable that you are all of a similar level to get the most out of your time on the mountain. They offer full weeks, full days, half days (mornings or afternoons) of ski tuition.

The Bureau des Guides in Meribel offer off-piste private lessons for individuals or groups of family and friends. You can be a complete beginner at off-piste or a confident skier/boarder, they will show you the routes best suited to your ability.

They run itineraries in Courchevel Les Avals, Meribel Les Rafforts and Les Menuires.

You can hire a guide for your group from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. for €420. The rate includes all the safety gear that you will need (transceiver, shovel and probe).

The Bureau des Guides also offer other winter activities including heli-skiing and ice climbing as well as numerous summer activities.
