After four exciting days of racing in the Alps, Chris Froome emerged victorious in Paris for the third win of his career. Equalling the records of Philippe Thys, Louison Bobet and Greg LeMond who all have three Tour wins under their belts, and becoming Britain's first three-time winner.

This week is all about the Piste Bash Festival
Despite headliner Norman Jay being cancelled at last week’s Ronnie Loves Music Festival, the event was a huge success. With the use of The Rond Point’s more-than-spacious outdoor terrace, it seemed the perfect venue to host a week of incredible live music, bangin’ DJ beats and ultimate party vibes.

It’s been a beautiful week of sunshine here in Meribel. We’re due a little smattering of snow followed by yet more sun and the slopes are in prime condition so there really is a lot to be cheerful about.

Dom Harington is a Halfpipe Snowboarder from Leeds who has missed the last two Olympics due to injuries after winning the Europa Cup Halfpipe. Sochi is probably his last chance to be part of the Olympics and he's giving it everything he has.

7 days in & it's already produced some spectacular results
Le Tour de France 2016 kicked off last Saturday with stage one and the 'Grand Depart' being hosted by the stunning island community of Le Mont Saint Michel.

So far we've seen not only some fantastic racing, stunning scenery and nail-biting sprints from the 2016 Tour de France, but we've witnessed several unusual crashes, the yellow jersey literally running up Mont Ventoux and more than one incident of an over-enthusiastic fan causing disruption.
Highlights from the Meribel music festival
The Little World Festival in Meribel is five days of skiing, live music and parties. The Feeling have traditionally headlined this music festival returning to the resort where they played as a cover band before becoming one of the biggest bands of the late 00's. The main stage is on the snow just below the Rond Point and all the gigs are free.
French mid-summer celebrations
Fête de la Musique is the celebration that takes place every summer solstice on 21st June in cities, towns and villages across France.

More drama over the weekend in the World's biggest cycle race
As 15,000 people cycled the penultimate stage of the Tour de France 2016, from Megeve to Morzine in the Etape du Tour on Sunday, the drama of the actual race was unfolding in the Pyrenees.
