1. La Terrasse la Brasserie du Village

Location
Meribel

La Terrasse, nestled in the heart of Méribel Village just 100m from the Golf chairlift and at the base of the Lapin piste, is open all year round - even during inter-seasons. Book your table online via the “Check website” button above and enjoy lunch, après-ski, or dinner on the heated terrace or in their cosy dining room, whatever the weather.

Their culinary team works with carefully chosen local ingredients wherever possible, crafting a menu that blends international inspiration with Alpine flavours. From gourmet burgers, Savoyard favourites, locally sourced meats and daily specials to colourful salads, there’s something for every appetite. Sustainability sits at the core of what they do: they minimise food waste, avoid single-use plastics, and offer a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Après-ski is where La Terrasse truly comes alive. Every afternoon, a different live artist or band takes to the outdoor stage, bringing energy, rhythm, and good vibes. Share a jug of beer with friends, sip luxurious hot chocolate, or warm up with their homemade vin chaud as the music flows into early evening.
And when you’re not ready to stop? The party moves upstairs. Extended Après at Lodge du Village continues on specific days of the week.

For a more intimate night, book a table in their restaurant and take your time with their signature dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Heated terrace tables are available, and takeaway options offer even more flexibility. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Aux Petits Oignons Restaurant, Meribel 1600 restaurant

3. Aux Petits Oignons restaurant

Location
Meribel

Owners Sarah Mundy and Eric Gelin have turned this restaurant into a popular eating place and a heart of Méribel social life. Aux Petits Oignons is open all year round and has a reputation for great food and drinks at fair prices and a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

As you enter the restaurant you are immediately warmed by the open fire in the centre of the room. The decoration is simple and unfussy, and the atmosphere is animated, thanks to the open bar. This has become a popular spot for both British and French locals to drop in for a drink.

The restaurant is open each day for lunch serving good, fair priced dishes; a three course menu du jour, and salads, burgers, homemade Croque Monsieur and soup. This small, friendly restaurant was one of the first in Méribel to offer vegetarian options. You will find something across the whole menu and there is always at least one veggie main.

The evening menu is based on a classic French menu with some international dishes and vegetarian options.

The restaurant prides itself not only on the fabulous menu and carefully selected wine list but also the efficient and attentive service. At the same time, the ambience is informal and friendly and later in the evening more people come into the bar area to add to the atmosphere.

La Fromagerie Restaurant, Meribel style of cuisine

6. La Fromagerie restaurant

Location
Meribel

The ultimate cheese fest, fondue, raclette, tartiflette, salads, charcuterie and vegetarian options feature prominently on the menu.

Serving arguably the best fondue in Méribel... you decide! There are many cheese dishes to choose from as the name suggests, and plates and plates of charcuterie to fill you up, but be warned - if the strong smell of cheese puts you off then maybe this isn't the place for you. As an extra bonus, the owner breaks an egg into the last crusty dregs to make the ultimate cheesy scrambled egg. If you're a real cheese-lover, ask the owner for a tour of his ‘cheese cave’.

During the day the cheese shop upstairs sells a wide selection of cheeses (funnily enough), so you can even take some home with you.

Open evenings only.

Copiña Restaurant, Meribel - Centre

7. Copiña restaurant

Location
Meribel

A stylish and sophisticated restaurant, Copiña offers a unique Spanish dining and drinking experience in the heart of the Three Valleys.

Located right in the centre, Copiña literally translates to 'a small drink', and offers an exciting and rare Spanish influenced drinking and dining experience in an intimate and relaxed setting.

You can indulge in an impressive range of drinks and tapas, including cutting edge cocktails, hand selected craft beers, world wines and Iberian-sourced tapas. The cocktails are made using homemade ingredients and innovative techniques and the craft beers and wines are carefully selected from all over the world. Six different world beers are regularly rotated on tap and wine is offered by the glass, allowing you to try your favourites.

The Iberian influence shines through in their menu, which draws influence from Spanish tapas and uses only the finest, freshest, Spanish ingredients. Their authentic homemade tapas take you back to the streets of Madrid with scrumptious Patatas Bravas, Padrón Peppers or some Tortilla. These tasty delights should be washed down with one of their signature cocktails, a craft beer or a perfectly served glass of wine.
